Master Mary Treacy is the Owner/Head Instructor in Aurora and began her martial arts training in February of 1987. She has trained in both Tang Soo Do and Hapkido her entire Martial Arts career and holds a 5th degree Masters belt in Tang Soo Do and a 7th degree Masters Belt in Hapkido. She is currently a certified instructor with the World Tang Soo Do Association and an International Certified Judge.
Master Treacy started teaching with our Little Champions and Junior Achievers in 1992 and became a full time instructor in 1993. She is also the Head Trainer of our Certified Instructor training program since 1998 and places a huge emphasis on creating our next generation of leaders.

Master Jansa began his Black Belt Leadership training when he was 16 years old and earned his first black belt in Judo before he was 20.
He now holds a black belt in four styles of Martial Arts (Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do and Hapkido). Current ranks held are 7th Degree in Tang Soo Do and 8th Degree in Hapkido as well as his first degree in Judo and Tae Kwon Do.
Master Jansa is a Certified Senior International Instructor with the World Tang Soo Do Association and is also certified as an International Judge. Having been an instructor since 1971 (his entire adult life) is considered by his seniors and peers to be one of the best instructors in the world today. He has great patience while placing an emphasis on helping his students and their families to learn and grow together.
