Eagle S.T.A.R.S.

Eagle S.T.A.R.S. is a positive program designed for children and developed by Instructor Master Mary Treacy. She and her staff come directly to childcare centers and teach on the premises. Master Mary Treacy is the Owner/Head Instructor in Aurora and began her martial arts training in February of 1987. She has trained in both Tang Soo Do and Hapkido her entire Martial Arts career and holds a 5th degree Masters belt in Tang Soo Do and a 7th degree Masters Belt in Hapkido. She is currently a certified instructor with the World Tang Soo Do Association and an International Certified Judge. Master Treacy started teaching with our Little Champions and Junior Achievers in 1992 and became a full time instructor in 1993. She is also the Head Trainer of our Certified Instructor training program since 1998 and places a huge emphasis on creating our next generation of leaders.

The classes that we teach at childcare centers are geared toward the positive attitude aspect of the Martial Arts. We strive to make a positive impression on tomorrow, one child at a time. Although learning the techniques and performing them properly are very important, we feel that honesty, self-esteem, a positive attitude, discipline, and most importantly having fun are the true lessons to be learned from the Martial Arts. This class teaches children necessary skills and gives them the tools they need in order to tackle other aspects of their lives!!!!
